STUDENT PHOTOGRAPHER

I'm Josh French, a 20-year-old photographer from Northampton, UK. I specialize in astrophotography, but I also capture stunning landscapes, portraits and much more. Originally coming from Cornwall, I have been spoilt by beautiful scenery and coastlines for most of my life - although the most magnificent scene of all is not visible in the daytime.

My passion for astronomy and space has driven me to photograph the unseen wherever I look, unveiling compositions that are hidden in plain sight. This passion has resulted in many memorable experiences, such as watching a rocket launch, seeing the northern lights and even witnessing an asteroid impact.

In my spare time, I love to catch up on all the latest news with rocketry and astronomy. Since 2019 I have been closely watching the development of a new launch vehicle called 'Starship', which hopes to be a fully reusable rocket capable of landing people on the surface of Mars. It's development is ongoing, and full scale flight tests are currently underway.
